Simplified connection diagram for those of you building talkkonnect from the USB sound card image. This diagram shows the connection of 3 LEDS and a PTT switch. At the very minimum you will need a PTT switch to be able to use talkkonnect for speaking to others.

Philipp OE5PIN Interfaces IC-705 to talkkonnect
Phillip created a project called RemoteTRX that allows the remote control of talkkonnect and also ICOM IC-705 via a smartphone, tablet or PC. The remote controller is based on web technology which is platform independent.
Platforms used to achieve this goal are talkkonnect and II-V Bridge.

MQTT Native Support in talKKonnect
With Talkkonnect Version 1.54.05 Released December 30 2020, talkkonnect can now receive MQTT commands over the internet. You an now turn on and off an LED or Relay connected to your talkkonnect device. MQTT makes the possibilities endless!
You can for example turn on a Relay to get attention from one of the clients or all of the clients remotely.
